The minimum system requirements for RealPlayer 8 for Windows are: 



 - 120 MHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent (supports audio only) 

 - Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 2000 ME (final release version only), or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4 or later. Windows NT and Windows 2000 users must have Administrative rights to install RealPlayer.

 - 16 MB RAM 

 - 16-bit sound card and speakers 

 - 65,000-color video display card 

 - 28.8Kbps modem (supports audio only) 

 - Internet connection and Web browser (Internet Explorer 4.01 or later or Netscape 4.0 or later) 



 While RealPlayer will function with the minimum requirements, there are also recommended system requirements. Audio and video performance will increase if your computer meets or exceeds the following: 



 - 200 MHz or faster Intel Pentium MMX processor or equivalent 

 - Windows 95, or Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4 or later. Windows NT users must have Administrative rights to install RealPlayer.

 - 32 MB RAM 

 - 16-bit sound card and speakers 

 - 65,000-color or better video display card 

 - 56Kbps or faster modem 

 - Internet connection and Web browser (Internet Explorer 4.01 or later or Netscape 4.0 or later)
