职位描述 ：   

-  将视频算法（如H.264/AVC, MPEG-4）应用于最新和下一代产品；

-  迅速学习新算法以及设计算法的优化实验；

- 在视频压缩和图像处理领域引领高效的新技术研发；

-  参与国际视频编码标准的相关工作；

-  合作建立多媒体应用的原型系统，如无线局域网和点对点网络等中的视频流；

-  写作应用注释和技术文档；

- 提出新发明为得专利权。 

职位要求 ：  

总体要求： 
- 熟练使用英语，良好的口语与书面交流能力；

- 良好的沟通能力与协作精神；

- 良好的自信心与独立工作的能力；

- 高度的主动性和责任感。 

具体要求： 
- 电子工程或计算机科学专业硕士或博士学位；

- 有超过5年的在视频压缩领域的实际工作经验

- 具备信号处理和信息论领域的坚实基础；

- 视频编码技术的职业经验（MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, AVS等）；

- 具有多描述编码以及点对点视频流的良好经验；

- 具有图像处理、视频预处理及后处理良好经验；

- 熟悉C/C++开发环境（3年以上使用经验）；

- 具有良好的人员管理与项目管理的经验或潜能。 

Sr./Research Engineer – Video Compression 

Laboratory :Video Compression

Context :

Work in a newly established research center in a well-known multinational company with a dynamic, stimulating environment, competitive compensation and plenty of opportunities to grow professionally. Closely collaborate with other world-wide research centers. 
 

Job description :   

-  Apply video algorithms (e.g. H.264/AVC, MPEG-4) toward new and next generation products

-  Quickly learn new algorithms and create optimized implementations of algorithms

- Direct and conduct cutting-edge research and development of novel techniques in the field of video compression and image processing.

-  Actively involved in related international video coding standardization work

-  Cooperate to build multimedia application prototype system, e.g. video streaming over wireless lan, over P2P network etc.

-  Write application notes and technique documentations

- Contribute to the patent portfolio by new inventions 

Required profile :  

General 
- Fluent English language: Mandatory,

- Good communication capability: Mandatory,

- Good self-sufficiency: Mandatory.

- High degree of initiative and responsibility 

Specific 
- MS or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

- With 5+ years industry research experience in the compression domain 

- Solid background in signal processing, information theory, and image processing

- Professional experience on image/video coding techniques (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, AVS, JPEG, etc.)

- Good experience on multiple description coding and P2P video streaming is a good plus

- Good experience on image processing, video pre-processing and post-processing is a good plus

- Skilled in C/C++ development (3+ years)

- Experience in leadership and project management is a good plus
