Abstract
One year ago, In-Stat expressed a cautiously optimistic view of China's digital cable STB industry, based on market conditions at that time. This year, the fourth of cable TV digitization in China, we have more good news, with breakthroughs in subscriptions, shipments, and revenue. SARFT continues to play a central role in driving the cable industry's digitization. The lowering of deployment costs is another favorable factor.
 
 In this update:
 -We examine market conditions in China's digital cable industry, with references to last year's report. Changes reflect improving conditions for digital cable STB vendors.
 -We offer updated forecasts for subscriptions, shipments, and revenue.
